Welcome To Sandley Central...

This website features a OO gauge modern image layout, "Sandley".
Two Bachmann 108's await departure at Sandley.Hornby Class 110 & Bachmann 108 DMU's indulge in a spot of permissive working at Sandley.
Sandley is a fictional terminus situated on the eastern side of the UK, not far from the ECML.
The era is 1985 - 1987 when BR Blue / Large Logo still reigned along with loco hauled passenger trains and first generation DMU's.
Sandley Central with plenty of units present. Birds eye view from the top of the station building.

As well as Sandley Central, on another part of the layout there is a fair sized Diesel Depot.
A pair of 08's share the fuelling point on the depot. Inside the running shed are a 20, 25 & 31.

The dimensions of the layout are 20 feet x 10 feet, with the baseboards being 2 feet wide along the 20 foot sides, and 3 feet on the 10 foot side.

The layout is DCC Controlled, and in the future outside running around the garden will take place.
